The art of   "Mega-teledramas" came to light recent past with the attraction of the majority of  Sri Lankan audience.Because so called "Mega teledramas" or " multi-episode teledramas" became one of the main mode of entertainment among the people inadvertantly. "Shanthi, Sujatha, Pragathi, Praveena and Mahagedara" give rise to the memory of mega-teledramas in the Sri Lankan teledrama history.Those Indian teledramas were long dragging multi episode teledramas .And then of course it was the first hand haunting experience of mega-teledramas to the Sri Lankan audience.Because it was a transition of teledramas from once a week telecast to a daily telecast.So the audience began to meet their favourite characters daily and gradually  it became a part of their life.The Indian tradition overpowered the Sri Lankan tradition, customs, ways and this trend reached the pinnacle of success within a short period of time.Then I hope this will be a review of what we enjoyed in past with curiosity and temptation!
